Standard Terms and Conditions

The price quoted for your tour is for the agreed specification only.

Variations to tour arrangements

These terms and conditions, together with the documented tour itinerary and booking form, set out the entire agreement of the parties. Any prior discussions or agreements between the parties whether written or oral are cancelled as at the date of setting out the itinerary and schedule but without prejudice to any rights which have already accrued to any other parties. Any variations agreed upon prior to the start of the tour will be confirmed in writing (Where applicable additional charges in respect of these changes will be shown in the confirmation).

As of the date of departure of the tour, any requests made to vary the itinerary, travel or accommodation arrangements must be agreed to by both parties and may incur an additional charge. Agreement to vary any such arrangements is subject to local availability and cancellation of other travel and accommodation arrangements that have already been made.

Payment

A deposit of £200.00 GBP or 30% per person, whichever is the greater, is required upon booking your tour. The payment of the balance will be payable 8-weeks prior to the commencement date of your tour. Failure to pay the balance by the due date (8 weeks prior to the commencement date of your tour) will result in the cancellation of your booking. If you are making a booking less than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your tour, payment in full is required.

After your payment has been made, if you cancel your tour for any reason, apart from government imposed Covid restrictions, you will be entitled to a refund as follows: -

Weeks Before Departure — Refund due
More than 8 weeks — Total minus deposit.
4 to 8 weeks — 60% of the balance.
2 to 4 weeks — 30% of the balance.
0 to 2 weeks — NIL% of the balance.

The decrease in the amount of refund made is reflected in the level of expenses incurred by us in relation to the organisation of your tour and associated costs.

Should we have to cancel your tour for any reason you will be advised at the earliest opportunity. You will be offered alternative dates for your tour, but should that not be acceptable you will be entitled to a full refund.

Under EU regulations, our services are classed as a package tour and all payments made by a ‘package tour’ customer must be fully protected. To facilitate this, your deposit and final payment are lodged with the Travel Trust Association (TTA) in our ‘Trust Account’ and cannot be drawn down by us until your tour is complete.

Accommodation

The accommodation and board base of your tour are that shown on your booking form. This is inclusive of the meals stated only and all other meals are at your cost.

The level of the board may be varied to suit your specific requirements and where requested your tour may be on a half-board or full-board basis. Where lunch and dinner are not included appropriate arrangements will be made to ensure that suitable facilities are available for you to purchase meals and refreshments as required. In any case, the meals included in the price will be detailed on your booking form.

Tour vehicle(s)

Each guide uses his or her own vehicle for groups of up to four people unless otherwise stated. Larger parties will be transported in an alternative vehicle(s) as agreed. We would respectfully ask guests not to smoke whilst travelling in our vehicle(s).

Travel arrangements

Pick-up and drop-off points will be agreed, upon and form part of the agreement. These are shown on your booking form.
