In 1975 Eric learned to fly gliders and light aircraft at an old WW2 US Air Force Bomber base where he began to get an interest in the history of the Allied Air Operations during the Second World War.

This interest focused on the bases around East Anglia close to where he lives and he subsequently became involved in escorting groups of veterans and their families around their old wartime haunts. Eric has conducted these tours both privately and as a guide for the 8th Air Force Association at their UK reunions.

Having taken early retirement, Eric now spends much of his time researching his interests in all things Military. Eric is our specialist Air Force guide and leads on our US 8th Air Force Tour, as well as guiding on our Military tours across the battlefields of Northwest Europe.
